BAD GIRLS DO IT WELL

The Gulabi gang is a group of women vigilantes active across North India. It is named after the pink saris worn by its members. The group was founded as a response to widespread domestic abuse and other violence against women. Gulabis visit abusive husbands and beat them with bamboo sticks. In 2008, they stormed an electricity office and forced officials to restore the power they had cut to extract bribes. The Gulabis have also stopped child marriages and protested dowry and female illiteracy.

Laying out a forecast that, in the subsequent years, maps to an emerging reality is neat stuff, especially when the forecast includes various social components yet to show up. Neptune has thirteen known moons. Naiad, Thalassa, Despina, Galatea, Larissa, Proteus, Triton, Nereid, S/2002 N1, S/2002 N2, S/2002 N3, S/2002 N4, and S/2003 N1.

The first four moons orbit within Neptune’s ring system. Proteus is Neptune’s second-largest moon and lies so close to the planet that Earth-bound telescope cannot detect it. Triton is one of the three moons in our system that has an atmosphere and has a retrograde orbit. Nereid has a highly elliptical orbit causing it to have varying distances from Neptune.
